“Enchanting! Had me on the edge of my seat with wonder!” – R. David Robinson

A new magical play created and performed by award-winning magician Bobby Torkova.

A Hanky and a Top Hat! is unlike any magic show you have ever seen. This autobiographical, one-man show uses story telling, multi-media and actual magic to illustrate how a young boy who stuttered and read comic books, went on to become a world renowned magician. You will not only experience a unique evening of wonder by a world class magician but also hear his true and inspiring story behind the magic.

The New York Post called Bobby Torkova, “Unquestionably Among the Best!”  He has won numerous awards for his magic including the 2013 Merlin Award for Best Classical Magic from the International Magicians Society, is a First Place Winner in the Society of American Magicians National Competition and was awarded the prestigious Hofzinser Award for Classical Magic given by the Vienna Magic Society in Austria.  A scholar of magic and its history, Torkova has acted as magic consultant to off-Broadway productions and has been featured in various trade journals as well as the bestseller, Magic for Dummies by David Pogue.

A Hanky and a Top Hat! is directed by Gene Santarelli and developed through the play development program of ANDTheatre Company.
